Opening Scoop St. in New York

Text

scoopst:

Today was a big day at Scoop St. HQ in Union Square. After nearly a year and a half of hard work and understanding the mechanics, logic and success of a buying mechanism known as “tuangou” in China and select niches online - we opened Scoop St. to the masses (well, the masses of New York City to start) offering unbelievable deals from amazing local businesses. We’re thrilled to be sharing what we consider our DNA to the rest of NYC through the power of group buying.

We’re also fortunate to receive some great reviews and spotlight from some of our favorite publishers throughout the country, such as The New York TimesThe Business Insider and ReadWriteWeb. Take a look at what they had to say about group buying and our thoughts on a new means of local marketing for small businesses.

To friends/family/members - we’re still replying to all tweets/emails/phone calls to thank everyone of you for your support to date, so please be on the lookout for replies. :)

To Better Deals, Together!

- The Scoop St. Team

I can’t forget to give a BIG thank you to a special lady: Amanda K. :)
